A partner in NJ Shore Fit the personal training business for Brielle Sports Club in Brielle, New Jersey. Dennis is a former professional strength and conditioning coach having spent 12 years with Washington Bullets/Wizards (NBA) and Mystics (WNBA). Dennis is the co-author, along with other NBA Strength Coaches, of two books on strength and conditioning including NBA Power Conditioning.
He has a degree in Health and Physical Education from Shepherd College in West Virginia. He is a former colligate athlete who participated in football and track as well as coached high school football. Dennis also competed and won in power lifting and has coaches Special Olympic powerlifters.
Dennis is a certified by International Sports Science Association as a Sports Conditioning Specialist, as well as, a certified Club Coach by United States Weightlifting Federation. He also has certification as a Fitness and Nutrition Specialist with the International Correspondence School and holds a certificate from Frappier’s Acceleration Program. He is also a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), United States Weightlifting Federation (USWF), and International Dance and Exercise Association (IDEA). Dennis’s areas of experience are numerous including: General Fitness; Sport Specific; Youth Training; Functional Movement; Speed and Agility; and Strength Training. He has worked closely with different Physical Therapists to further client’s rehabilitation needs.
A partner of NJ Shore Fit, he holds a BS degree in Marine Sciences from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and has been a personal training coach for 8 years.
Donald is a coach of proper movement & exercise, optimal nutrition, and leading a holistic lifestyle. As a former high school Soccer, Basketball, and Track & Field stand out, then a scholarship NCAA Div. I Track & Field Decathlete receiving honors as Metropolitan Champion, All-Big East Conference, and All-IC4A he knows what hard work, discipline, and daily motivation can achieve.
After Donald’s college athletic career was over he became a research assistant with NOAA-Fisheries at Sandy Hook, New Jersey. Donald was active in research on various topics eco-toxicology of Hudson River fishes to nursery grounds of commercially important fish. He published and spoke on his research at international conferences and meetings. His primary focus dealt with toxins, nutrition, growth and development, which are prevalent in scientific and holistic approach of training and nutrition.
Donald is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Recently, Donald has gained and applied his knowledge through the certification of the world fitness industry’s elite Paul Chek Institute’s Holistic Lifestyle Coach. This program combines an intensive study of the relationship between food and lifestyle habits and the tools to recognize and create individualized eating plans to improve their client’s health and overall wellness. In addition, a CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach understands the important roles that sleep, food quality, stress reduction techniques, and exercise play in improving the health of their clients and learn practical methods that initiate valuable lifestyle changes. To further his understanding of spinal, cervical, and core training he is continuing his education though the CHEK Institute.
In 2011, Donald completed the Functional Diagnostic Nutrition coursework that allows him to use laboratory tests to assess hormones, digestion, liver function, detoxification, heavy metal toxicity, leaky gut, and more in order to get to root cause of stubborn weight loss and other wellness issues.
Donald attends conferences and workshops on health and fitness, as well as lectures on various aspects of correct exercise, proper nutrition, and creating lasting lifestyle changes. Donald constantly provides his clientele with the latest trends in physical therapy, soft tissue work, personal development, and proper nutrition.
In his spare time, he loves to workout, cook new organic meals, travel the world with his girl friend, Christin, and surf when ever, where ever possible.

Sean Settles is a certified Personal Trainer through the prestigious American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and has completed several continuing education courses through the ASCM in nutrition to advise his clients on the best ways for them to lose and maintain a healthy weight.
Sean is completing his degree in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in spring, 2012. He specializes in being a functional strength trainer, which means he utilizes various apparatus and equipment to make each of his clients strong. He focuses in on activating your core muscles during all exercises to enable your body to function properly. Once functioning properly you will be able to get a strong, lean, and healthy body.
Additionally, Sean has completed coursework as Certified Metabolic Typing Advisor. Now as a Nutritionist Sean can better help his clients and community understand the roles proper nutrition has on your body to balance your metabolism. Identifying your unique metabolism is key for stubborn weight loss, flattening your stomach, and shrinking those tough to lose spots.
Our Expert Trainers have degrees in Exercise Science, Physiology, or Kinesiology as well as multiple nationally recognized certification and atleast 3 years experience. Most of the Expert Trainers are working full-time or working towards full-time.
Diane is certified as an AFAA Personal Trainer, AFAA Aerobics Instructor, Mad Dog Spin Instructor, AFAA Youth fitness Instructor, and Les Mills Body Pump Instructor. Diane now specializes in women’s fitness with clients ranging in age from 15 to 72 years old. She understands the basic desires of her clients and helps them restructure their lives so they will attain their goals. Diane’s clients have gone from weak to strong, from fearful to confident, from unfit to fit. Her clients look and feel great!
When Diane is not in the gym she spends time with her family. Diane is married with 3 children, all girls. She loves to bike, spend weekends on the beach, cook, dabble in interior decorating, volunteer for school activities, shop with her teenage daughters, and spend the weekend evenings on the front porch with her husband.
Kevin Malone is a national strength and conditioning association certified strength and conditioning specialist. Kevin has an athletic background that goes back to his childhood, playing sports and living an active lifestyle. While attending Wall High School Kevin competed with championship cross country and wrestling teams. His main focus has always been surfing having been born and raised at the Jersey Shore.
Kevin attended the College of New Jersey where he was a 3 year starter for the college’s rugby team while he studied and graduated with a BA in history. Post college Kevin traveled extensively and upon returning to New Jersey realized his heart was in athletics and training. Kevin studied and became a NSCA-CSCS in June of 2011. Kevin took his newly learned skills abroad to Nicaragua and trained pro surfer and owner/operators of Surfari Charters International Lance Moss and his wife Kristin Moss. After 3 months of living abroad, Kevin returned to NJ and came to NJ Shore Fit to continue to refine his skills while studying to continue his education.
