Calling All Coaches and Parents

By Donald Shrump | In Exercises, Fitness, Gym, News | on July 28, 2015

Wouldn’t it be great to know which one of your athletes is likely to suffer a non-contact injury? It may be the star athlete and you would never know it.

Now with state of the art functional testing by Optogait, we can see where your eyes can’t see. We can see to a 1,000th of a second, the imbalances in walking, running, jumping, cutting, etc. that lead to common injuries. The best part is that once tested we can:

  • ASSESS objectively the Athlete’s general physical conditions (power, vertical jump, etc)
  • IDENTIFY deficiencies, postural problems and asymmetries on the basis of data and videos and determine how the Athletes’ performance is being effected
  • DEVELOP and apply therapeutic-rehabilitation applications, rehab approaches and orthopedic solutions on the basis of precise data
  • PREVENT relapses, complications and involutions of the pathology by periodically verifying the results and the efficacy of treatment working with your therapist
  • MOTIVATE athletes by giving them tangible proof of improvement
  • COMPARE post- and pre-accident values if available (pre-season concussion data)
  • VERIFY, in a dynamic situation, the efficacy of arch supports, insoles or functional tapes comparing various shoes and their effect on the athlete’s performance

Imagine you being able to quickly track and test if your son or daughter is overtraining and needs a break.  Imagine half way through the season the coach comes up with a crazy work out and your child had a hidden weakness that would only show during this one work out.  Using the OptoGait we can perform various tests to compare asymmetry that may lead to compensation patterns and injury.  With the system research has shown a 70% reduction in ACL injuries, increased speed and power, and best of all no more guessing for return to play after an injury.

If you are already injured before testing, then we can see how well your rehab went and using biofeedback neuromuscular training we can finish your rehab like no other system can.

Point Pleasant Beach High School Basketball Player being evaluated preseason and tracked year round for overtraining, power development, and vertical jump increases.

NJ Shore Fit traveled to U.S. Marine Corps Barracks 8th and I in Washington D.C. to test the soldiers for injury prediction.

Optogait’s Drift Protocol (single leg hop test) is great for seeing asymmetries, weakness, and faulty movements.

Using OptoGait we can measure faulty landing patterns and see a predictive reason for knee injury

Gait analysis is key for testing if your shoes are helping you or hurting you. Ground contact time and many other things are analyzed in your gait.

Portland Trailblazers were featured in the Wall Street Journal using OptoGait.

NFL players use the system to become more efficient runners to enhance performance!

Around the world Optogait is being used at all the top Olympic training centers, NFL teams, NBA team, Soccer teams, the military, and now right at Brielle Sports Club.  For more information about getting your athletes tested to reduce injury, enhance performance, and prepare your team for success please contact us.
